The journey of singer, songwriter, producer, William C. Brister, Jr. (known as "Briss." by his friends and family) began in Plainfield, NJ where he was born and raised. As a child, Briss grew up listening to the soulful sounds of his dad's R&B/Funk band (known as the Sagittarian Five) rehearse into the wee hours of the night. He was taught to always hear the music for himself and to always bring himself to the music. "I would sneak and stay up to listen to them rehearse. Sometimes I'd get in trouble but after a while, since they couldn't get rid of me, I was allowed to hang around." Briss accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and began singing in the church choir. Throughout his life he was exposed to all types of music from Gospel, R&B, Pop, Funk, Classical, to Jazz. His musical influences include Sarah Vaughn, Nancy Wilson, Whitney Houston, Rev. Daryl Coley, CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, and his all-time favorite ... Stevie Wonder. "He can do it all ... he can play, write, sing, produce ... and I believe he loves the Lord" says Briss.

Kingdom Travelers
"The Kingdom Travelers"

Let God In Your Life
I'm A Witness

And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ye and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15

When Jesus spoke these words He was saying to the people "Turn away form your old ways and accept a new way of thinking, a new way of living. Accept this new way of thinking; believe the gospel and you will become a citizen of God. You will not be conformed to this world but by the renewing of your mind be travelers in the kingdom of God."

As travelers in the kingdom of God, we are all to tell the people of this world about the good news of Jesus Christ. Tell them what He has done in our lives; how He has made a difference in the way we live. Tell them that He died, was buried, was raised from the dead and now is alive. Tell them through poetry, plays and dance in song.

In these songs you will meet five young men who accepted Jesus' invitation to repent and believe in the gospel. And now God has blessed and ordained them to spread the good news of Jesus Christ in song as citizens of His kingdom traveling through this world. Over the last year and a half these young men have appeared in over twenty-five concerts including two appearances of Gospel Search television and one concert with national recording  artist Keith "Wonder Boy" Johnson. Their smooth harmonies, different and unique style and lyrics have made them one of the San Francisco Bay Area's most popular groups.

It is now time for the rest of the world to experience what the San Francisco Bay Area has rejoiced in for the past year and a half. The Kingdom Travelers
